The Brightwell Easter Egg Hunt 2022

The Brightwell are hosting an Easter Egg hunt again this year, with 4 trails around the Bradley Stoke area plus a bonus bunny trail.

All 4 egg hunts make for 9 miles getting your steps in and 3 hours of fun! The trail routes are just a guide and you can complete them any way you wish, and can spread the trails over different days. The trail will be up from 11th – 24th April so there is plenty of time to find all the eggs.

You can pick up a trail pack from the management suite located upstairs in the east offices next to the dentist. Trail packs are £5 (cash only) or you can pay online for the trails here. All proceeds will be going to help provide life changing therapies for members living with neurological conditions.

About the Brightwell

At the Brightwell, there are a range of therapies and specialist clinics that all aim to; help manage the symptoms of neurological conditions reduce recovery time from injury and improve overall wellbeing.

The West of England MS Therapy Centre was founded in 1985 by Jackie Brightwell – a woman caring for her husband, Ray, following a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

Ray had taken part in a clinical trial of oxygen treatment and had responded well. Following the end of the clinical trial, Jackie set about trying to set up a local branch of ARMS (Action Research into Multiple Sclerosis) and in doing so provide a facility to give oxygen treatment to people with MS in the greater Bristol area.

Following an 18-month appeal, she raised the necessary money to install an 8-man barochamber and to buy two industrial units at the Centre’s first home, in Nailsea.

In the following years, more therapies were added and demand for the Centre grew. So much so, that a brand-new Centre was purpose-built in Bradley Stoke.

The Centre was so popular that a brand-new centre was purpose-built and officially started welcoming members in 2012. Complete with the upgraded premises featuring ceiling hoists in all the treatment rooms, a modern gym and fully accessible toilets. We also have the benefit of our own carpark and a beautiful therapy garden. 2022; is an exciting year for The Brightwell! 2022 marks 10 years at the Brightwell based in Bradley Stoke and we are excited to be expanding the centre by adding a new Café and relaxation lounge leading to a fully accessible terrace overlooking the therapy garden. Therapies; We host a range of therapy offerings at The Brightwell including; oxygen therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture & a variety of specialist clinics, all within a calm and caring environment ensuring we still hold true to Jackie’s original aim; to provide help to those who need it.
